About Readsome

Readsome wasn't born from a new idea—it was born from frustration. We tried the existing book summary apps on the market and found the reading experience lacking. The traditional format of bullet points, takeaways, and key notes felt mechanical and uninspiring. The endless scrollable feeds made it difficult to focus and absorb information.

In 2025, we decided to build something different. We moved away from the standard list-based summaries and introduced narrative summaries that read like short stories. Our summaries don't just extract information—they preserve the author's voice and the book's natural flow, making complex ideas engaging and memorable. We also redesigned the reading experience itself, replacing scrollable feeds with a clean pagination system and justifiable text that feels more like reading an actual book.
