1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website at readsome.app ("Website") or using any of our services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

Readsome is operated by Pocket Apps S.R.L., a company registered in Romania.

2. Description of Service

Readsome provides access to concise summaries of nonfiction books in text and audio formats. Our service helps users learn key insights from bestselling books in approximately 15 minutes per summary.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time without notice.

3. Waitlist Registration

By joining our waitlist, you agree that:

You will provide accurate and current information
You are at least 16 years of age
You consent to receive emails from us about Readsome updates, launch information, and early access opportunities
You can unsubscribe from our waitlist at any time
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the service or any specific features
We make no commitments regarding launch dates or early access availability

4. User Accounts

When account creation becomes available, you will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may not share your account with others or use another person's account without permission.

5. Acceptable Use

All content on the Readsome Website and Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, book summaries, audio content, images, software, and other materials ("Content"), is the property of Pocket Apps S.R.L. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or exploit any Content without our express written permission. The Readsome name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Pocket Apps S.R.L.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

When subscription services become available, additional terms will apply regarding pricing, billing, payment methods, cancellations, and refunds. We will provide clear information about subscription terms before you make any purchase.

Early adopters who join our waitlist may receive promotional offers or free access periods, subject to separate terms that will be communicated at the time of the offer.

8. User Content and Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or other communications to us ("Feedback"), you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such Feedback into our Services without compensation or attribution to you.

Warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure

We do not warrant that book summaries will be completely accurate or comprehensive. Summaries are intended as educational tools and should not replace reading the original works for critical purposes.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, POCKET APPS S.R.L. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pocket Apps S.R.L. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the courts of Romania. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top.

Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Services.
